Forever and a day.

Well

it’s been a while since anything on  Say Cheeze! has been updated, so I might add some news and such.

Since the last post a lot has happened!
Last Sunday (15th) I went to melbourne to check out the Photography Studies College on their open day.
Looked around, talked to lecturers, tutors, 1st and 3rd year students, all in all a VERY productive day. Big thanks to sahil who take the day off to help me out with getting around!
I was speaking to the administration staff who I had met previously. Carmen.
As she looked through my work that i’d brought with me she mentioned “I don’t see you having a problem getting in!”
I’m still not completely confident, but a slight ego boost never hurt anyone.
They told me to make sure i was showing the BEST of my work, and with all honesty, i don’t think i’ve even reached that stage yet.

I was thinking back to TAFE the other day as I was talking to an old friend and decided to get out my old portfolio from last year. I looked over my marks and realised that I got a distinction for my colour work. After considering over it for a while, i decided i want to do a colour themed portfolio. the uses of colour in photography and how it can “make or break” a photo! So hopefully I’ll be able to get onto this soon, my interviews are in 3 months from now. Better get crackin’

Anyone who would like to help out with modelling, let me know, it would be greatly appreciated

Thoughts.

A quote from ”Life’s little instruction book”:

“When boarding a bus, say hello to the driver. Say thank you when you get off”. This seemed appropriate as it’s something i see everyday. On a bus of about 50 school students, 2 say thank you as they depart the bus. This would be monica and I and on the occasions keith or cameron or someone who’s with us. It makes me sad that people don’t appreciate people doing their jobs anymore. It’s their job, but someone has to do it.

Soccer and Tafe was good today really enjoyed myself.

Times I let my thoughts run away with me about it today: 9.

It really was a long weekend.

There was some cold winter mornings…

A lot of walking.
A sleepover with sez.
A terrible movie.
A lot of photos.
A trip or 2 to Pedro’s.
A birthday dinner for dad.
A win in soccer.
A Birthday Cake for dad.
A really long bus trip.
A dinner with Iman and Mandy at Terrigal
A trip to cold rock.
A sleepover at Mandy’s.
And a LOT of blog posting.

Well

There was an overgrown abandoned bowling club lawn
There was a rooftop looking like it was going to give way
